Occupational Health Nurse – OSRAM SYLVANIA – Manchester, NH

OSRAM SYLVANIA’S world-class fluorescent lamp manufacturing plant has a challenging opportunity in Manchester, New Hampshire for a qualified Occupational Health Nurse.   In this position, you will manage a cost effective occupational health program; provide case management of occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses; assure compliance with company and legislative policies and procedures related to worker health; and participate in other related efforts such as employee training, ergonomic teams, and accident investigation. Candidates should have a RN with Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field; 2-4 years relevant experience; certification as an Occupational Health Nurse (COHN); certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (Audiometrics and spirometry is preferred); knowledge of Occupational Health (toxicology, workers compensation and health promotion is preferred); the ability to interpret policy and data, providing medical expertise and coordinating  health promotion activities; working knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act and Family Medical Leave Act, short-term and long-term disability, and PC Skills in MS Office.   Multi-site experience a plus. Case Manager, 40 hr/wk –South Shore Hospital, South Weymouth, MA

Excellent Fulltime Case Manager opportunity. Selected candidate will act as a patient advocate/Case Manager to Organization clients. In this autonomous role, you will coordinate, negotiate, procure services and resources for, and manage the care of complex patients to facilitate achievement of quality and cost efficient patient outcomes. You will provide clinically-based case management, discharge planning, care coordination and assist in identifying appropriate utilization of resources across the continuum of care. Case Managers - Tufts Health Plan Watertown MA

1) The Specialty Case Manager works in a telephonic managed care setting combining strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking to facilitate a care plan that will ensure quality medical care for the high risk member population serviced by Tufts Health Plan. Based on national standards for case management practice, the Specialty Case Manager will focus on empowering the member to support optimal wellness while advocating for the necessary
medical services across the health care continuum. The Specialty Case Manager reports to the Specialty Case Management Team Leader and will demonstrate strengths in working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. An understanding of the Department business objectives and outcome measures is important to the accountability of the Case Manager and the success of the member focused Specialty Care Management Programs.  We currently have openings for Team Leader,  Adult and Pediatric Case Managers

2) The Tufts Medicare Preferred Case Manager serves as a member advocate. The MP CM performs a complete assessment of each member's care needs. The case manager works within the member's benefit plan and determines all options for providing care to each individual member. Care Management interventions are based on nationally recognized standards of case management practice. The MP CM reports to the Medicare Preferred
team leader. The acute care MP CM works with members who are receiving care in the acute care arena, acute care hospitals including tertiary facilities. We currently have openings for Team Leader and MP Case Manager

3) Under the general direction of the Team Leader for Delegation, the Delegation Nurse Consultant (DNC) is responsible for overseeing the delegated medical management functions of the delegates within her/his jurisdiction. Through a triplex role of auditor, educator, and liaison, the DNC will: document a delegate's compliance with applicable state,  federal, health plan, accrediting and regulatory requirements; develop educational plans and programs to improve delegate's performance; collaborate with internal and external customers to respond and resolve issues related to delegated medical management policies, procedures and workflows.  The DNC needs to consistently demonstrate sound clinical and health plan business knowledge in their decision making process. An understanding of both clinical and business outcome measures is utilized to assist the delegates in identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement in care delivery processes and costs. Occupational Health Nurse – Occupational Health Services of Portsmouth Regional Hospital – 40 hrs/wk - Portsmouth, NH

 

Full time opportunity for Occupational Health Nurse (40 hrs/wk, M-Th 8a-5p, Fri 8a-1p).  Primary duties:  The Occupational Health Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.  The tasks and responsibilities include:  case management of work related injuries.  Communication with employers, insurance companies, and patients as needed.  Setting up referral appointments to radiology and specialty medical providers.  Assisting medical provider in the care of work related injuries as necessary.  Performance of clinical components of physicals -Post-offer physicials, DOT physicals, etc. Including:  vital signs, audiometry, spirometry, vision, EKG, blood draws, vaccinations and immunizations.  Coordination of clinical activities of an LNA. Coordination of Drug and Alcohol program -- random, post-offer, reasonable suspicion, and DOT drug screening.  Working with medical review officer (MRO) in cases of positive drug screens.  Provide educational seminars to client companies.
