News from the Maine Extension
The ME and NH extensions had a very successful joint 3 hour meeting on ethics on May 15th. 34 people were in attendance. Both chapters realized a profit from that event. Due to that meeting, the ME Chapter deferred their normally scheduled June meeting.
The August program will be titled: Updates in Wound Management, on Tuesday, August 8th. This will be presented by Jana Christman, RN, Certified Wound Care Nurse. This is a good opportunity to learn about what is new in the outpatient wound management processes.
Case Management week in October is still in the planning stages. Topics are being explored as well as the site of the program. Keep an eye in the next newsletter for details!
