The fund continues
to be replenished through fundraising efforts. We
have a wonderful raffle each year and give prizes
including conference registrations and other items
and gifts donated by Vendors and Supporters
throughout the region. Nancy Benoit contacted Law
Publishers and they are donating a registration to
the 2009 Workers Comp Summit Conference, held
annually at Sugarloaf Resort in Maine, (a $350.00-
$375.00 value). Sandi Lowery has again donated a
complimentary Case Management Certification Prep
Course valued at $265.00. Liz Dumas will be
approaching the publishers for donated copies of the
Physicians Desk Reference. We are offering quarter
page ads in our conference brochure and
opportunities for newsletter articles as incentives
for donations. We will be initiating our raffle
ticket sales at the March 12, 2008 Building
Strategies Conference. We hope to increase raffle
ticket sales at chapter meetings and other
gatherings throughout the 2008 year prior to our
annual conference. Please send ideas for donations
to members of the Committee through Maureen
Ferguson. Thank you on behalf of the CMOY and
Scholarship Committee.
