Her 30 years of nursing experience has taken her from the Philippines, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing , to working for the largest teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, ranked as one of the top hospitals in the US. She has extensive experience in Med-Surg Nursing , OB-Gyn, Acute Case Management, Utilization Review Management & Clinical Documentation Improvement. With a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education, she has taught at the University of Rhode Island – College of Nursing. She has travelled to California, Louisiana and New Hampshire to work as a traveler RN. Liz has been the CMSNE RI Extension Chairperson for the past four years and has been involved with the Programming Committee and Building Strategies Committee.  As a lifelong learner, she believes that success in any endeavor lies in the continuous pursuit of self-improvement and the willingness to adapt through discovery. She is currently working to obtain her Doctorate in Nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions.  She has a positive outlook for the organization and passionate about case management when she states that “CMSNE has consistently aimed to be at the forefront of the practice of case management and I am confident that with a strong cohesive team of case managers working across all areas of case management, CMSNE will continue to be the leading regional case management organization in New England”.
