Virtual Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE) – Webinar
Sponsored by CMSA and COPE

This is an interactive virtual simulation that helps participants better understand the lived realities of poverty and SDOH, learn from people making the journey out of poverty, and become a change-maker in their organization. Participants will make difficult decisions, work together to try and complete their tasks for one simulated week through mall breakout rooms to discuss and debrief with colleagues. This session will deepen the understanding of social determinants of health impacting healthcare delivery and outcomes while highlighting the importance of learning from communities that are most affected by inequities in health and social conditions and fostering community discussions that can lead to change and new ways of thinking. This interactive ninety (90) minute experience combines trivia, simulation, and group discussion and debriefing.
